You’ll get ample hands-on experience using the latest accounting software programs in the Accounting Center for Electronic Learning and Business Measurement (ACELAB). In the ACELAB, you may find yourself practicing everything from using electronic research software to develop conclusions to complex reporting issues to simulating data sampling and analysis on a real company’s records. You’ll also benefit from partnerships Bentley has established with top software companies such as ACL, FARS, Great Plains, Learning Insights, Peachtree and TurboTax.

The major in Accountancy prepares you for diverse career opportunities in public accounting firms, corporations, small businesses, nonprofit organizations and government. Our graduates have pursued careers as internal and external auditors, financial managers, tax experts, consultants in CPA or consulting firms, forensic accountants in federal criminal investigative agencies, and more. The major also can lead to the CPA license when combined with a master’s in Accountancy.
