Laura Bakun '07

Major: Marketing

After working with the Boston Celtics during her senior year through a Bentley-run internship program, Laura landed her current position with the team as senior coordinator for corporate partner activation. In this role, she coordinates multiple special events throughout the year and works closely with team sponsors to manage their relationships with the organization.

Michael Blumenfeld '06

Major: Marketing
Minor: Information Design and Corporate Communication

Michael currently works as a website marketing specialist at E*Trade, where he is responsible for helping to improve the user experience and attract new customers. During his time at Bentley, Michael gained real-world experience through internships and corporate partnership courses, which was a valuable asset in landing his current position. Michael recommends that Bentley students seeking career advice to connect with the Bentley network of alumni.

Yvener Petit '08

Major: Corporate Finance and Accounting

Yvener currently works at Ernst & Young as a senior associate in the Financial Services Office and Assurance and Advisory Business Practice — a position he landed with the help of an internship he held at the company while a student at Bentley. Yvener credits Bentley's emphasis on teamwork and easy access to top faculty with preparing him to succeed in his current career. He also is a member of the National Association of Black Accountants.

Alexandra Wyman '09

Majors: Information Design and Corporate Communication and Liberal Studies

Alexandra currently works at "The Martha Stewart Show" as a production assistant; her role includes producing show segments, writing scripts and working with guests. She credits her Bentley media arts courses with helping her hone the creative and practical skills she needs to succeed in a competitive industry. Recently, Laura arranged for 25 current students to watch a show rehearsal and learn about the television industry through Bentley's Success in the City program, which brings Bentley students to New York City to learn about careers in a variety of fields.
