The Nathan R. Miller Center for Career Services (CCS) is dedicated to providing programs and services to meet the career development needs of Bentley University students and alumni.

Students use the Nathan R. Miller Center for Career Services (CCS) throughout their years at Bentley. The CCS is a great place for you to explore career options, gain insights, and connect with top employers. You will have the opportunity to attend workshops and career fairs, and work with advisors to help define and reach your professional goals.

Bentley University was recently ranked #8 in Career/Job Services by the Princeton Review — due in part to the many resources available at the CCS and the hard work of our students. In fact a recent survey of Bentley University’s May 2010 undergraduates shows that more than 90 percent are employed or in graduate school.

At Bentley, you’ll work with a career services counselor to develop a customized professional development plan that focuses on four key areas to guide you through your four years at the university — and every stage of your career.

Freshman Year: Explore

Who are you and what do you want to do? Workshops on choosing a major, career assessment tools, and other activities help you identify professions of interest. You will explore the types of jobs best suited to your work "personality."

Sophomore Year: Experiment

Internships, course projects for corporate partners, and panel discussions with accomplished alumni lend deeper insight into your talents and skills. You will be able to experiment with a wide range of career paths.

Junior Year: Experience

Our relationships with employers offer a firsthand introduction to careers related to your academic major. You will build the kind of experience that leading organizations prize.

Senior Year: Excel

Put your arsenal of information and experience to work in landing a job. You will excel at positioning yourself with potential employers and gain lifelong skills for career advancement.
