You’ll find a variety of offices on campus whose number one job is keeping you safe, supported and satisfied during your time at Bentley.
Center for Health and Wellness
The Center for Health and Wellness provides free, confidential health care to all full-time students. Their services include diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses and injuries, lab testing, dermatology, men’s and women’s health care, and medical and dental referrals. Staffed by nurse practitioners and physicians, the center offers counseling and education programs covering topics such as stress management, relaxation, sexuality, and responsible lifestyle decision-making.
Counseling and Student Development (CSD)
Counseling and Student Development offers free and confidential programs and services to all students. Its staff of psychologists, social workers and counselors provides counseling and mental health services for concerns related to stress, depression, anxiety, family life, relationships, and more. The Alcohol and Drug Resource Center has a trained professional who offers education and counseling for alcohol and drug issues. Disability Services is also housed in CSD; a staff member provides support services and works with students to arrange appropriate accommodations during their academic career.
The Office of Disability Services
The Office of Disability Services provides academic and personal support to students with diagnosed learning disabilities, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, psychiatric and psychological disabilities, deafness and hearing impairments, blindness and low-vision impairments, mobility/orthopedic disabilities, systemic disabilities and medical conditions, and temporary disabilities.
University Police Department
Members of theUniversity Police Department take a proactive approach to safeguarding the campus and promoting security awareness. Their initiatives include a Safety Escort Service, educational programs in residence halls, and training in CPR and standard first-aid. Officers patrol buildings and campus grounds; provide assistance in case of illness, accident or emergency; and ensure compliance with university rules and procedures.
