Diversity

At Bentley, diversity is everyone’s responsibility. Fulfilling our mission as an institution depends on building cooperation, competence, and understanding throughout the entire university community. Formal responsibility for coordination of university-wide, diversity-related activities at Bentley is located in the Office of the President. Many other departments, centers, offices, programs and organizations at Bentley contribute to improving the diversity climate through varied and persistent efforts.

The Center for International Students and Scholars (CISS)

Designed to support the international student community at Bentley, the Center for International Students and Scholars offers a wide variety of programs to help you achieve your educational goals. In addition, the center also offers support and assistance regarding visas, cultural adjustment, and other related immigration issues.

The Center for Women in Business (CWB)

The Center for Women in Business aims to encourage the development and retention of women business leaders by encouraging women to enter business, providing opportunities for their professional advancement, and promoting innovative research.

The Cronin Office of International Education

The Cronin Office of International Education offers education abroad opportunities in more than 20 countries on six continents. Programs range from intensive weeklong courses to those that take place during a single semester or a full academic year.

LGBTQ

We offer a variety of resources to support the university's LGBTQ community, including an ally program, a committee focused on LGBTQ issues at Bentley, and an annual rainbow luncheon.

Multicultural Center

The Multicultural Center is designed to serve as a resource for Bentley's ALANA (Asian American, Latino/a, African American, Native American, and multiracial) students. The center provides academic monitoring, guidance, and referrals; initiatives for leadership development; and one-on-one connections for advocacy and ongoing personal support. It also serves as a campus-wide resource, promoting our efforts to foster diversity and develop as a richly varied learning community.

Spiritual Life Center

The Spiritual Life Center serves the spiritual and religious needs of students and other members of the campus community. The staff comprises Catholic and Protestant chaplains as well as advisors to individuals of the Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist and Muslim traditions. The center can provide you with referrals to appropriate religious communities in the Waltham and Boston area. Look to the center for counseling, interfaith and faith-specific services, scripture studies, sacramental preparation, and opportunities for spiritual growth.
