Your application fee may be paid via check or money order drawn on a U.S. bank or foreign affiliate, payable to Bentley University (non-refundable). The check must be imprinted with a U.S. bank address and contain MICR routing numbers encoded on the check.
Please submit an official transcript or marksheets for all schools attended (college, gymnasium, lycee), both in your native language and English, including your most recent marks available at time of application. Uncertified photocopies are not acceptable. Be sure to include official results of national examinations, if given in your country.
You may respond to one of the several essay topics listed in the application.
We require two letters of recommendation, one from a counselor and one from a teacher, who can speak to your academic strengths and talents.
We require that you take the SAT or ACT with Writing test. Your results may be sent directly from the testing agency or indicated on your official high school transcript. The SAT or ACT should be taken by January for fall admission.
If English is not your primary language, you must also submit official results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). A minimum score of 233 computer-based, 577 paper-based, or 90 Internet-based exam are suggested. We also require a minimum score of 20 on each of the TOEFL subsections. Your scores should be sent directly to Bentley by Educational Testing Service (ETS). Please note: the International English Language Testing Systems (IELTS) may be substituted for the TOEFL exam. A minimum score result of 7 is required, as well as a minimum score of 7 on each of the subsections for the IELTS exam.

Our Center for International Students and Scholars can also assist you in preparing your documentation for visa issuance.
Please submit a photocopy of the name page of your current passport. In addition, if you are now studying in the United States, please submit a copy of your I-20 form pages 1 and 3 and student visa as well.
Please make sure to submit all materials within the appropriate deadlines to ensure a thorough review of your application.
