Honors Program

The Honors Program is a four-year journey that provides special challenge and fulfillment to select Bentley students. Students in approximately the top 8 to 10 percent of the entering class are invited to participate in this four-year program. Participants select approximately two courses each semester, first in the General Education curriculum and later in their major, that offer an extra intellectual challenge in an intimate, seminar atmosphere.

Honors courses tackle a variety of topics — from the ethics of genetic research to the movie industry’s impact on social values — in a seminar setting that promotes discussion and debate. In addition to Honors courses, students in the program participate in (and help plan) special co-curricular activities such as films, lectures by distinguished speakers, student colloquia, and field trips to innovative companies and the theaters, concert halls, and museums for which Boston is internationally famous.
